Community Classes for Music and Dance

Newcomers are welcomed!

Beginning adult students are welcomed to join the Tuesday gamelan and/or Saturday dance classes. in dance are welcome to join the Saturday class. Enrollment is welcome throughout the term.
Children ages 7 and up are welcomed to join the Sunday youth gamelan class throughout the term.
Children ages 7 and up are invited to Indonesian youth dance classes regardless of previous experience.

Summer Term begins in June and runs through July. Please check below for dates and registration forms for your specific class.

Gamelan classes are taught by Joko Sutrisno, and Indonesian dance classes are taught by Tri Sutrisno.

Adult Gamelan Tuesdays, 7-9:30 p.m.
June 3, 10, 17, 24
July 1, 8, 15, 22 $80 (8 weeks) Registration form. UTEC

Sumunar Youth Gamelan Sundays, 4:30-6 p.m.
June 8, 15, 22 (no class on June 29)
July 20, 27 (no class on July 6 or 13) $30 (5 weeks) Registration form. UTEC

Adult Dance Saturdays, 10 a.m.-noon

The Adult Dance class will be taking a break over the summer.

Youth Dance Sundays, 2-3:30 p.m.

The Youth Dance class will be taking a break over the summer.

Sumunar Gamelan Ensemble Sundays, 6:30-9 p.m.
